ScottParris
Hey Guys, Attached is rendering I'm working on for a client in California. He loved the rendering but I'm not all that satisfied with the copper material. More or less glossy? To dirty? To clean? To brown? What do you guys think? p.s. You can scroll through and see two other images if it helps. http://picasaweb.google.com/scottaparris/WorksInProgress/photo#5181702624936826178 Thanks again. BillyElNino
If you're imagining the timing of this image to be 'just built' then the copper will be very bright, shiny / reflective. Obviously not too long down the road it will stain a lot and start to pick up that characteristic green patina. The client may be interested in what their canopy will look like in the not too distant future...
ScottParris
Right, that was the idea I had in the begining but was told to use a newer copper. Personaly I like the patina look, but it's not my house. Anyone else???
blowback
Looks good, I would move the camera up (closer to the house) a bit. If its going to be that far back then lift ift up in the air and shoot down. I would reduce the reflection in the glass. Too much like a mirror. Does it have to be noon? ScottParris
I've beent thinking about a sunset scene. I don't really have time to get to it till tomorrow. We also found out yesterday they want to see the winding staircase we got on the interior. I'll post those when I got something. Thanks guys!
