Crazy Homeless Guy
Several years ago I wondered into a Arby's to grab a roast beef sandwich. I was ready to place my order when the clerk informed that they were out of roast beef, but they had a selection of chicken sandwich's from which i could select. how can you be out of roast beef? that is what you sell, roast beef sandwich's. i guess the shipment of beef was somehow messed up, and they ran out. I easily muse over that experience because I find it a little funny. Yes, I am that easily entertained. Now, the other morning I decided to pop in to an equally ubiquitous specialty chain. A Starbuck's for a cup of coffee. Guess what... they were out of coffee. Luckily I could still get an espresso.
AJLynn
One time, I think it was the first time I ever ordered in a chain pizza store, I asked for a medium pizza and was told they were out of medium but I could have a small or a large. I was really confused - I had only ever seen pizzas made by a guy who starts from a ball of dough, so why wouldn't they just take a large ball and break some off, and it took me several minutes to realize that the dough was coming in pre shaped and frozen. Frosty
I once went to a KFC that was out of chicken. This was much before they sold all sorts of other stuff. I'm pretty sure I asked why they were still open.

Justin Hunt
Years ago, whilst living in Botswana we had a house fire. We called the firebrigade only to be told that they could come on Monday, only this happened on the Saterday. We used the garden hose to put the fire out. Sure enough Monday the fire truck arrived jhv
SandmanNinja
With our water restrictions, if I have a fire in my yard I can only use my water hose to put it out on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 5a-7a or 6p-9p!

Horhe
With our water restrictions, if I have a fire in my yard I can only use my water hose to put it out on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 5a-7a or 6p-9p! So I presume those are the exact dates you use your kitchen utilities to cook something up?
