TomA
Where do you get your IES lights from? Specifically for Vray. I know Erco are pretty good for lighting (in the real world) but can't seem to see anything on their website. Cheers P

Cheers P yup you just get them from the manufacturer.... that's the whole concept behind using photmetric files.... the main ones I use are erco, lithonia, and american electric on erco's site ... http://www.erco.com/usercgi/km_ls_download/ls_download.pl?_startseite=en=40_planning_luminaire/25_ies

Ernest Burden III
I used to make my own in Lightscape. You could not provide an accurate power setting so it was by-eye, but it was great to be able to simply shape the light output visually (splines and nodes on screen). I think there is at least one IES editor available online somewhere.
