F J
hey, when we create a proxy, ticking automaticaly create proxy checkbox, we lose the geometry, ending up with just the proxy.. so far so good.. but what if only after we realise we'd be needing the geometry again? is there a way to reverse this process? lambros
if you do a search at chaos, I think that this has been asked before. In the past someone wrote a script or something that did that job, but I have never used it
Ricardo Eloy
It has also been asked here. Someone posted the script here, but I never actually got it to work, though...
BrianKitts
exactly as Rick said.... there used to be a script for it.... and it used to work, but I don't think it's been updated for recent releases of vray and it no longer works. I sent and email to the guys who wrote it and never heard a word back...

JamesTaylor
I know it won't be of use now but... the obvious answer here is to save a copy of the geometry to a unique file before creating proxy, you can always go back and amend then re proxy that way!! sorry i know that isn't really helpful now! Thablanch
The guy who wrote the script is Corey Rubadue... The version was working fine on Max 7, so if you still have that Max version installed on your computer, could work.
Scott Schroeder
There is a script that works with Max 9, however I can't remember where I found it. Check the Vray forums and I'll do some digging myself.
