is the quadro FX 570 good anough for max and Vray?

hello every body,

I'm planning to buy a new workstation, cause my old laptop is no more powerfull anough for my architectural renderings.

 

So, for the grafic card I'm trying to get some informations from those who used the quadro fx 570, is it a good enough to users like me who use 3Ds max with Vray, maya, autocad, photoshop...or not? if not what would you recommand instead?

Any 7900GT/GTO or 8800GTS/GTX would beat up QuadroFX 570 both in OpenGL/ D3D.

MAX 7/8/9/2008/2009 drives much better in D3D, so almost there is no need for "profi" OpenGL cards such as QuadroFX.

Just switch to D3D when starting max and you'll forget expensive Quadro cards.

thank's for your advice !!!, I agree with you for max it's run pretty well under D3D but can you say the same for maya which I thing is Open GL based?

another thing, I really need someone who experienced the quadro fx570 with max and maya to give me Idea on it
