danb4026
How would I create a tile material on a single floor, that has 2 different granites. The main granite tile is consistent (2x6) in size using a Stretcher Bond style, the second tile is randomly sized and placed sporadically. Right now I have a Bercon tile setup with the "Tile" in map channel 1 and the main bitmap granite in map channel 2. I have no idea how to now add the 2nd granite which will have a differnent tile setup. Now that I think about it...the second tile will have to be cut out of the main tile, otherwise it will throw off the grout lines. Any ideas? JonRashid
yep, physically model it. It shouldn't take long due to its uniformity. if you map it before you array it that would make things even quickey. Render out a large image of your model floor in a non perspective window with full self illumination. you can then take the rendered image into photoshop and with a little bit of work tint the odd tile here and there where the repeat is most obvious and voila you have a unique bit of flooring with no ghastly repeat
Tyorl
Maybe u should try use your 2nd texture in Grout Map slot and increase Holes% in the Grout of 1st Tiles. P.S. The same as here: http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/29504-tiles-map-colour-variation-between-3-specific-colours.html
