HD playback

our video guy just left the company so i'm the temp video guy for now.

 

I'm creating a 90sec animation that will play(loop) on a 40" HDTV 1080i in a sales office....

 

My pipeline is

--3ds 8 SP3, Brazil 2

--After Effects CS3

--FCP HD 4.5

--DVD Studio Pro

 

My question is i read somewere on this forum 864x480 is a good alternative to rendering out 720x40 and even 1980x1080, so that's what i'm going to try..

I have the settings in 3ds and AE figured out but not sure how to set up my workspace(settings) in FCP and DVD Studio, anyone have any suggestions..
