Sunlight

Hi Guys,

 

Im hoping someone out there can help me with this problem! I need to do a sunlight analysis on a site im working on and im well aware of the sunlight/daylight function within max. However, what im trying to find out is if there is a more accurate or scientific way of measuring the effects of sunlight to help with the design process?

edit** of course i was only interested in the shadow positions etc. not sure if you are questioning the accuracy of the light levels received or irridance values at a given point when using the sun sky system?

second vote for the light analysis tool in 2009 design.

 

as a side note - great name and great avatar Philip. Trickster is one of their best (although obviously it's meaningless.... )

Hey James - yeah i am looking at more levels than shadow analysis but it aint looking too good!!
