Cookiepus
Hello I've modelled my building using AEC walls, im now doing a simple white render for client preview. Im getting these huge dark blotchy edges on the corners of the walls. When i turn up the qulity setting in Vray they are reduced but still quite noticeable. As you can see from attached image. It doesnt happen with regular polygon objects, but i hope to God i dont hafta sart over! Any help appreciated.........
Joseph Petrino
That looks like co-planner faces. Bump up "secondary rays bias" just a little. That usually fixes the problem.

alfienoakes
If thats in Architectural desktop the faces shouldn't be co plainer unless there is a problem with the cleanups / geometry.. If it were me, I would rather get the CAD model working correctly, and you will see the Vray problem removed as well.
