apychewicz
What type are you using for the Environmental Settings? Imaged based? If so make sure Disable isnt turned on for the background.
fr152
no i'm using the physical sky. with sun enabled and all the other settings are the default ones.
apychewicz
Hmm...under Environment Settings scroll to the bottom and left click and hold on the earth. Move the earth so that the location is in the light. This should fix your background problem. It should update the model as you move the earth around. Make sure under atmosphere the sun is checked. fr152
i'm importing from sketchup pro6. When i select preview viewport everything is ok, but when i render the final image the background is still black, and i have rotated the earth in the right position for the light.
