I am really trying to capture a certain time of day. TRYING.... 5 - 6 am ish Just befor the day breaks.... any cc welcomed. I have a little time before the dl.... help?

Looking good! If there were a break in the clouds, I'd put a single bright star as the morning/evening star.

I think all the 3D objects really need to darken down to match the skies. If you look at a few dusk photographs you will see that the buildings will almost be black compared to the sky unless they are artificially lit by street lights for example.

I know with MR and the Daylight system in Max2008, if you set the time to early morning or late afternoon, the sun looks warmer and the sky looks darker.

I am an idiot. I know it needs tweaking. It's got to go one way or the other. If the sun is above the horizon, than thats my light source, if below than the exterior interior lights are my source. Thanks everybody for your help.

It's looking good in the first post, just needs some more details to be convincing. Details in the street, sidewalks, trashcans sitting out, mailboxes, trees in and around lawns, a lamps in someone's window (getting ready for work)?
