SgWRX
the left tree in both images are the standard colorado spruce. the right tree in the first image is the same tree, but i found the hidden needle width option under the needle length button in onyx conifer. the standard needle width in this tree is 1mm. i increased it to 5mm to get the nice thick full spruce you see before you... ah... the second image shows the same 5mm wide needles, but within max tree storm plugin, adjust, i switched from hi-res needles to the lower poly needles - not to be confused with the abstract needle option. the lower poly tree is 246890 poly. the real thick full one is 605998. in one of my other posts is an engelmann and thats a lot lower poly using the abstract needles.
