To anyone building a new pc

Newegg has the Phenom 9600 plus 4gb of A-Data ram for $215 as a combo. The Phenom 9600 is $215 alone so you get the ram for free with the combo.

Just thought i would share that as i am about to buy three for this price, great deal, best i have seen so far. Was only going to build me 2 render nodes but for this price i might as well do three.

 

My workstation is a Q6600 and wanted my nodes to be the same but that would have put me around $400 for 1 processor and 4gb ram.

 

It is a little slower than the Q6600 but not anything to to brag about.

 

Hope this info is good for someone besides me. LOL
