Animating vray Light

I need to do an animated masterplan rotating and as the voice over comes and speaks about the buildings in question,I need them to glow when spoken about.

Is the easiest way to animate the vray light mulitplier?

Is there another option?

In this case, I would try compositing things in combustion or AfterFX.

Agree with Rick. You could easily do it in a series of stills with the lights set up the way you want them for each shot, then fade between them on queue to the voice-over. Other-wise, you'll need the voice over finished for timing to know when to animate / rotate around to what area to be discussed.
