yorik
Hi there, I'm making an animation of a small open-air shopping mall... I find it okay, but not more than okay, if you understand me. I don't know what's wrong... I have the impression that the lighting doesn't fall well... I think I passed too much time in front of it, I cannot get any new idea... I would be grateful if anyone could have a look and give me some comments, critics & ideas... The image below is the first frame of the animation. If you want to see the whole anim, I put a compressed version here for download (mp4 avi). It's about 14Mb. Thanks & cheers Yorik
Justin Hunt
Not too bad, as you as OK but could be better. A couple of things to try 1) reduce the contrast a little as well as the saturation 2) Change the RPC trees for geometry trees, the rotating shadows are distracting 3) Map the backround image onto a sphere rather that just in the backround jhv
yorik
Hi Justin, Very good observations, thanks! I removed a couple of cars too... Always hard to find a good balance between stuffing your scene with lots of details and leaving it cleaner...
