chow choppe
hi all not related to Cg but this problem is regarding some drivers We are using Hp designjet 100 plus plotter in our office connnected to a main server machine which has winxp 32 bit now we share this plotter via lan on other 32 bit Xp machines. but one machine has 64 bit windows and therefore when we try to install that plotter on this machine its not able to find the drivers. We downloaded the 64 bit drivers from the Hp website but we dont know whetehr to install this on host machine or the one with 64 bit windows. second question arises is how i will i be able to install these drivers on host machine since the new drivers are for 64 bit windows. Any other solution or right approach towards our solution ? thanks a lot
Crazy Homeless Guy
Intall the 64 bit drivers on the 64 bit computer. The 64 bit drivers are nearly the same as the 32 bit drivers, just complied for a 64 bit machine, and not a 32 bit. I would venture to guess that if you did try to install the 64 bit drivers on the 32 bit machine, it would give you an error message, and not let you install anyway.
