Dave Oliver
i have a scene setup that works fine. when i add vray fur it calculates indirect illumination indefinitely. i can render an archexteriors scene with a large, dense, area of vray fur with no problem. so its not a memory issue. when i replicate the settings in my scene, no luck. anybody know of some specific setting that makes the vrayfur manageable to render? 3dwannab
is it down to what distribution method you use, i notice when its a distribution of per face it is much quicker than per area. Any thoughts on this.
