kwerch
We are getting close to building the cabinets for this project and finishing it out-. One render was a 40 pluse hour deal. Using Vray and Max. Another of these views kept crashing and as I needed to show something to the client right away I used the photoshop method that I believe Eric Burden used and explained awhile ago (texture-grain-speckle) and took some of the more irritating blotches out with the blur tool- Could really cut down the render times like this. Not perfect but will get the idea across. Cheers

Kyle
I really like the ambience you have managed to create in this scene with the lighting.
Fran
Great atmosphere. I especially like the last one with the special wall installation. Maybe the images could be bigger and with better jpeg compression. What was the original render size? I'm seeing jaggies that suggest the downsampling was done in one step. kwerch
Thanks for the positives- Here's the last image full size- 1024x768- The jaggies, except round the soffit lights, were introduced when I ran the texture layer in photoshop-I'll pay attention to that the next time I do this. The jaggies on soffit light edges showed up in the original render and are something I had to live with. Didn't know how to get rid of them in render. Went over well though. Client got the picture- (forgive the pun) now we get to build it! Cheers!
jreben
Nice start, looking good, but 40 hours plus for one! Is that render time or time spent on making the whole project? If it's render time, you definitely need to adjust your settings. Nice feel and design, though. Client should be happy!
