You should use a better quality background - the jpg compression is very noticeable and detracts from the rest of the image. I just did some quick adjustments to give you some ideas...

 

Reduced the overall gamma, increased the contrast, reduced the mid blues (all only slight. Also "burnt" the left-hand side of the person to try and put his shadows on the correct side. Most noticeable is the crop - if you think of the composition as a "story"... you spent one third of the book describing the carpark. The line markings could also use the same bump as the road surface to make them seem more realistic.
