ABK
I'm looking to create a shader for a white frosted mirror. At the moment the only way I know how to create glossy reflections is using Arch&design materials. This is okay but the specular tends to be too high for the desired reflectivity. Can you get glossy reflections / frosted transparency using a standard material? Or is there a better soloution? antony
mattclinch
Arch and Design is your best bet if you are using MR. You can use a standard MR material, but i've always found them pretty complex, and A+D materials make it much simpler and are very powerful in terms of tweakability. What kind of look are you going for, and what look do you have now? Show us some pics and we might be able to give you pointers.
