Help and advice with VRay Sun

Hi all, first post so be gentle.

Recently started a new job, the company uses VRay but nobody uses the Sun feature. The problem i'm having is: i can't seem to get enough blue colour into the shadows, as you can see from the image, the shadows are very dark, with very little blue coming from the GI enviornment.

 

Any advice would be great

if you're using vraysky in your environment, then uncheck the override, or put vraysky in the override map slot...

Colour mapping is the default settings, Linear.

I tried dragging the VRaySky from the environment slot into the Skylight override slot...Worked a treat.
