david.jones
Hi, not sure if this is a stupid question, or if its been answered before. When creating my irradience maps for animation (only cam animated and done on nth frame), i set up a render with the dont render final image, but when i have any interpolation in my reflections or refractions, it still does those refl/refr pre-calcs. If i cut out refractions reflections in the global switches, it doesnt calc any GI through glass, so this is no good, but how can i stop those interpolative passes? do i even need to? It just seems to extend my prepass time. Although this is not really causing any problems, i feel i may be going about this the wrong way. Thanks. Dave Buchhofer
That works fine, and unless its running excessively slow i wouldn't bother changing it.. if you are using reasonable Irradiance map settings, you can just adjust your reflect/refract interp min/max to be the same as your irradiance min/max
