Billabong
I thought I would step away from the exteriors for a while and do an interior, so i saw the kitchen on line and thought I would give a try at recreating it. The only thing I havent modeled in this is the stove top and fridge. I do plan on modeling them, i just put those on here for render purposes at the moment. It looks though as that I need to add an AO layer to this. Still a lot to do, just thought I would show my progress. Thanks for looking
ApeiNe
IMO there's a lack of shadows, what kind of lighting are you using ? You can maybe work a bit more on materials too, you can add reflection on the marble, also on the marble, the mapping in not correct, check on the thickness... plates looks too thin, same for fork and knife on the table. You can also try to add some details to the scene, here it's a bit empty. If you using irrmap for GI calculation, try to increase the setting, the GI shadows looks really blurry. sorry to give the straight but you can really make sonething good if you pay attention to these details. SandmanNinja
I think it looks good, Billa! Some noise on the fridge and range hood, I like the bench tops and backsplash. The cabinets look a bit 'off' - not sure why. I'd stick a bowl of fruit or flowers on the dinner table. Maybe some particles for steam coming up from the coffee cup? Nic H
coming along allright. teh lights look weird, too many of them. in a shot where you see the lights so closely it will make a big difference if you model them properly, inner body with faceted reflective faces and a filament etc. I would go for simpler lighting as well, one 'key light' an ambient colour and a few detail lights on objects/whatever is nice.
