IHAB Posted May 10, 2008 Share Posted May 10, 2008 construction grid is under the basics pull down menu or you can find it under " drafing ", revit has a cool UI , you will soon get used to it you will have to draw all the const. grids individually or by using the offset option from the tools bar and clicking on the arrow icon. RAYMOND Posted May 10, 2008 Author Share Posted May 10, 2008 thanks that helped... i am used autocads snap and grid... however I did have kinda ??? time trying to move the wall ends to a snaped position. also the arrow keys don't seem to snap to anything most of my walls are not located exactly where they should be and dims are off not to a clean rounded off to inches... not sure how all this got this way well I have spent 2 days with Revit how on earth can we post RVT files since they get so huge.. r;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kris McIsaac Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 You can use the dimensions to move the walls into the exact location. Select the wall and any dimensions associated with it will turn blue. You can then add the correct value of the dimension and the wall will move. Just be careful that you dont have floors and roofs move with it.
