Building 5 Ultimate Visualization Workstation

So I'm building 5 workstation based on these researched components:

5 Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 CPU with Fan_socket 775 279.99 1399.95

5 Asus Maximus Formula Motherboard(Intel X38 chip) 269.99 1349.95

The motherboard is based on what HP blackbird002 are using. I didn't go with the Core 2 Extreme since they are very expensive now, and I believe that would kill my budget.

 

I already have a file server from dell, so all I need now is a few workstations for my employees.

 

Let me know if you guys have some better suggestions in regards to hardware.

Don't forget to buy power supplies.

i think quadcore 9450 is better choice, and nvidia 9800GTX has power for d3d too.

You can buy 2x2 gig sets of ram for cheaper than that price you got.

and buy 8 gigs ram - i think 4gb is in lots of cases not enough /or slowing power down/
