aaron-cds
You can get a very inexpensive website through www.1and1.com They have several website templates that allow you to drop images in. You could get something up fast with their templates.
daniohayon
If you know some basic Flash than you are golden! I used this site for pretty cheap and versatile templates. You can make your own search from the home page, but I did one that is pointing to minimalist and 'portfolio' as key word http://www.templatemonster.com/category.php?type=&tid=+-+Any+-&search_words=portfolio&from_=-any-&to=-any-&cat=&style=10&author=&x=29&y=12 Good luck, Dani
RobNJ73
Also consider that if you only want to show off a specific portfolio, you won't need to make an entire site... you can just put up a page that only contains the portfolio and link directly to that page (if time and expense are an issue). This way at least the portfolio itself will be up while the rest of the site is under construction.
SandmanNinja
I use 1and1.com and they have a great tech support department.
taran0
i used slideshowpro or monoslideshow very neat and just simple and elegant and just shows off your images....... has worked great for me, no nonsense just a simple slideshow of your work. most of the recruiters i have spoken to say they didn't really want any information or cv stuff or blurb until after they saw the quality of the work. the easier you make it the more they will look. http://www.bmagdns.co.uk/taran/new Edited May 19, 2008 by taran0
alias_marks
It's not as professional as some of the other solutions but I find it perfect for just sharing some work. All drag and drop creation and completely free with 100mb of storage. pages.google.com then I just bought a domain name and pointed it to the page, it's the web page in my sig if you want to check it out. hope it goes well, good luck dtmb edit: then of course there's http://www.pixila.com/ and http://portfolio.cgsociety.org/ Edited May 19, 2008 by alias_marks
SandmanNinja
http://www.1and1.com gives you some plug-ins so that it's easy to make a slideshow with no flash knowledge. just browse, upload, hit done, and it gives you a link.
