Eric Sosa
hey Owen, vray mat with some refraction (dark gray) and ligth blue with 0.002 fog, afect shadows & gamma, besides, a vray ligth behind the human figures with shadows with 15 subd. make some tries...u'll get it to work, I'm positive beware that, by altering the defraction of the vray mat, the render time will increase significantly....this is the price of using "half translucid" materials. other option is to use "noise" on the mat difuse map...tho it does not look good for close ups, besides it could be more a hazard then help trying to make it look good....if you are not familiar with vray mat versus vray setups. good luck Eric Edited May 18, 2008 by Eric Sosa

shaneis
From 3Seventh's evermotion post: * direct light for the sun and Vraylights placed in the windows. * LC + Irrmap (high preset with Detail Enhancement) and linear workflow for the tonemapping. *The frosted glaz is fifty percent greenish grey with fifty grey too refract value and glossy refractions * Spotlight RGB R: 255, G: 205, B: 128. * Volume lighting was done with a real volumetric layer + a few PS retouches G'luck S.
