So how long will it be before you leave us all behind to become some fancy NY furniture designer and leave the IT world behind? ;)

Don't know...probably when I start making more money from furniture then from IT :) .

I still like the cg industry better then the design community...seems like the people in cg are a hella lot nicer and down to earth then the design crowd.

Maybe its just me.

Ain't that the truth. And what is the deal with black. Is there some undergound "designer" store where they are all issued their wardrobes. LOL.

You should see the professors at my arch. school. Some kinda unwritten dress code - black, gray, white, occasional steel blue - like there is a funeral everyday. Actually I think it goes back to the big city trend at the turn of the century (18th) when coal was the primary fuel and soot was coveering New York and London. Black became "in" and then never when out. Go figure.

My only explanation is that they wear black so that when they look at samples they are not "tainted" by color spill. But then I've never know a designer to be that practical. ;)

And yes I am just a tad jadded...too many years having to deal with them I guess. Or maybe I just got to deal with all the difficult ones.

"Ahhh yes could you change that color, it doesn't look like it does in this image" "Ummm... it's the same image!!"

I was promised it will be more than just a thumbnails, even some text. Let's hope...

(it ain't ID mag - but Greg will tell us how to get there, right? :)

Btw,

Just confirmed, were in the October issue. If you have a subscription to I.D. Magazine, look for the blurb on ThirdEye Studios.

Were supposed to have two large project images, so we might even have an entire page :) .

Here's some eye candy for those who took the time to look at an old thread.
