schmoron13
if you use the MIA materials, just click on rounded corners (under AO)...should work. There used to be a chamfered edge script back in v5 or so, but i have no idea if anyone packed it for the newer releases. You can also chamfer your edges on the model itself. Claudio Branch
is there a modifier, script, plugin, shader etc. available that will modify the edges of my model to remove the unrealistic look of perfectly straight sharp edges? Take a look at Neil Blevin's site... http://neilblevins.com/cg_education/banging_up_your_geometry/banging_up_your_geometry.htm
SandmanNinja
I've used this one with a great deal of success: EdgeChEx.dlm http://www.vg2max.spb.ru/EdgeChEx.htm Information: This plugin allows to create chamfer (simple and advanced) selected edges and extrude new polygons after chamfer.
