alfienoakes
Thought I would be clever and try and load SP 2 of Vray on my otherwise fine and working machine. What a mistake. I have Vista and Viz 2007 with Vray sp1 all working fine. I tried to load SP2 and I have completely ruined it..! SP2 WILL NOT run.. I keep getting the: "DLL .... vrender90.dlr failed to initialise. Error code 127 - specified procedure could not be found." Then a couple more of them followed by: "DLL ....failed to initialise. Error code 126 - specified module could not be found" I have checked the plugins.ini file and the vrayplugins line is the last in the list. I now CAN NOT get Vray to work and am beginning to get very worried as I need to get this working to start a new project. Any clues would be great. Sir Fuse
I had a similiar issue w/ Viz 2008. I ended up completely uninstalling my Vray and reran the Vray SP2 setup. It worked after that. I hope this works for you.
Logitek
Hello Andy, No worries, check this thread : http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/30255-plgin-error-vraysimbiont90-dlt-failed-initialize.html#post207597 Or just delete this stupid useless .dlt and Vray SP2 will be just fine without it! Good luck mate.
alfienoakes
Cheers guys.. Will try this later. I did actually uninstall Viz 2007 and Vray and reinstall both but still got the same error..? Saw the thread on Chaosgroup about the other file Matthieu.. will try that later see if it works.
alfienoakes
Well.. Thanks for the help.. but this file did not make a difference.. So its back to square 1 for me.. The only thing I can think to do is too either try and re-use the old ini file from SP1, or uninstall SP2 and reinstall SP1.. Which seems crazy to me.. There is a file MAX2008 x86 and MAX80 x86.. I downloaded the MAX2008 at first.. couldnt see anything to say either way.. Anyway.. downloaded the other file and it works now.. After a bit of messing about mind.. But it works.. Cheers
