sdds
hi guys, I am looking for ways to improve my exterior renders. All the images I work on must be lit with direct midday summer light. Current setup is a direct light with the vray environment override set to 1.0 + a hell of a lot of ps work. The result is a bit of a dead render so ive been experimenting with gradient colours in the environment. would be interested what others do to create a more natural feel before post work. moodo
currently i using the vray sun and sky. but with a little variance in the sky map. i combine the sky with a hdr in a CompTex-map for more detail.
johnvid
The best way to get better lighting & Images would be not to render at NOON, is there a reason you want to do it at noon, best times for photographs are morning and magic hour so renderings are the same...IMO, unless you want less dramatic, and more even virtually shadowless illumination
