Looking for good textures

Hello,

 

I am building some roads, streets and pavements for a city. I am looking for some good textures for this. Could some one point me out some websites where I can find some, I would prefer free or not too costly as for the moment I am just working on a demo.

without meaning to sound obtuse or awkward, a camera is always the best place to start.

 

there are numerous online resource sites that have been posted before. cgtextures.com etc. quick search for texture should bring most of them up.

Hi Florence,

 

I have done several projects with roadwork texturing involved. I picked up this item from Turbo Squid for $35:

It is fast, flexible and affordable. Here are a few road textures that I generated with it. Use them as you see fit. If you have any questions or problems with your road modeling or texturing, feel free to ask for help.
