New Install - Problem with DR

Hello,

 

I just installed Max Design 2009 64bits on my workstation and Max Design 32bits on my renderslave. I of course installed the appropriate version of Vray (SP2) on each machine.

When I start a rendering, the slave machine is located and the file is transfered correctly (the Vray log shows "Server ip.address: Scene loaded : starting render"), but a few seconds later, I get a "Server ip.address: Render completed" message in the log, but the rendering is very far from being done.

Then the slave does not respond until the rendering is done.

 

Basically, it looks like it's working, but it doesn't at all.

 

It is always a bit tricky to setup the DR, but I never had that much problem in the past.

 

Has anyone got any clue of what I might have done wrong during the setup?

I did read this thread already. I have also searched this forum and the forum at Chaosgroup with no luck.

For info, I've setup DR for Max 7, 8 and 9 without any problems (well, a bit of headache, but at least it worked out in the end)... I do not get what the problem is with this version
