Server Question

We have an issue here at work where if we delete something from the server via our desktop (that is to say we are using our desktop but the file is on the server) we loose any sort of recycle bin features and the file is gone for good. A couple of co-workers have lost a few hours worht of work recently - I thought that I had heard there was no solution for this but I thought I would just float the question to see if anyone knows better.

Thanks

Thanks SB -

Yeah we make 3 back ups right now so I guess they could have found the file maybe they weren't motivated enough. I like that script idea. I don't know if anyone here is up to that level to be able to script but it sounds cool.

Anyway thanks for the feedback.

Don't think there is a solution for it, accept for finding another way of working with the server.

Perhaps Terminal server, but it depends on the amount of workstation you have, and how much you are ready to invest in a server that will be capable of having all your users working on it simultaneously.
