mr daylight sky

[smr_VIZ]

When I created a MR daylight, then render, there is a sky image automatically appeared on my rendering. It is amazing. I think even VRay don't have this capacity. But my sky is pretty dark even I moved my sun into 12:00 PM noon position. What should I do?

pretty much all the render engines have this capacity now...its called a physical sky...you may need to use exposure with MR though...

smr VIZ Press 8>>>>>then select mr Photographic Exposure control >>>>and then choose a peset >>>> Physically Based Lighting Outdoor Clear sky...

 

Also Make sure that you have set the gamma/LUT Preferences on the preferences.

Are you in Max or VIZ? I am using viz 2008 and I can't find "mr Photographic Exposure control "!

Not Exists in VIZ

only max 2008 / max 2009 / Max Design 2009

 

Also you can render it in Logarthmic Exposure Control.....Render to Open exr and Adjust the exposure in Photoshop.
