roy
Hi all! I am currently working on this apartment render in V-ray and although it seems to look ~ok~ it lacks the (i hate this phrase) "Wow" factor! I would just like to know what you guys think and if there can be any changes to the lighting or textures that could really improve the image? I think personally the lighting looks flat. Is this a result of too many different lights? Also, how can I get the sink to shine like the chairs? It always seems to be very flat. Is this just due to a lack of light around it? Thanks in advance =)
chiquito
Try turning off all the models, and seeing what is going on with the room light. it looks burnt, overlit by areas. What floor are you using? Exterior images could help color bounce and reflections on table... dont know.. keep working. Good luck. M.
RodT
Chiquito has a good point about exterior images, the camera angle may not be the best. Your shine on the sink looks correct to me. Most SS sinks are brush finished. You might try an accent color on one of the walls to break up the white a bit. LOOKS GOOD so far...
nelpiper
I think the light is too flat. Also the carpet looks weird, it doesn't look like carpet at all to me. Try to render a AO pass, it makes the images more vivd and realistic.
