3dSol
Hello fellows I have been given a machine that has Premiere Pro 2.0, i remember learning to import my animation frames from max (TGA), setting up a few in between frames with some text, adding a standard transition effect and being able to export some decent animation in an earlier version of the software. Now i am stuck, i cannot produce the animation nor, see a preview in the monitors, theres something about the frame rate i am now not getting, but the frames seem to be assigned a extremely slow rate when i drag into the time line, i have looked around for some tutorials but they all cover working with clips, not frames, so if anyone could PLEASE tell me what has changed, or what am i not doing correctly please help me out, i cannot figure this out thanks much 3dS
hughie
When you wre importing the frames did you assign a duration to the frames, I think the default is 30F, it is possable to do it individualy but it is a lot easier to go to EDIT>Preferences>Still image = 1 then import your folders. As for creating the animation do you have anymore details, do you get an error when you go to export, and is your monitor blank?
amer abidi
When starting a new project, make sure you pick the correct frame rate, as this will control the speed your animation is played back. PAL is 25 fps, while NTSC is 29.97 fps. So assuming you rendered out at 30fps in your 3D software, playing back at 25fps in premiere would produce slower playback speeds, since your losing 5 frames from evey second of your animation. get it? as for not being able to see preview, try dragging the "sequence 01" file from the project folder on the left to the preview window. should solve your problem! This Tutorial is for Premiere pro CS3, but pro2 & CS3 are very similar in interface. http://www.unrachpictures.com/XSLIMITS/TCtutorial1.html
