litleboy
I'm going to send my laptop to warranty, are my autocad an Max licenses at risk? how to protect them? shut them down? should I better format?
AJLynn
Don't worry about it, if they change out too many parts and they licenses stop working you'll be able to talk with Autodesk and fix it. Depending on what you use the PC for you might worry about personal data in case they junk the hard drive but usually just doing a backup is sufficient. shaneis
If you're that worried about it why not back up your files, ACAD and Max settings and uninstall the programs.
