alias_marks
The past couple months work have lent me to work on some more NPR stuff out of sketchup and I thought I would share one of my recents for some comments. The landscaping is still in development right now, hence the lack of detail on the streets in general, but would love any feedback you might have. This shot includes a couple rendering passes out of sketchup, an AO pass out of Mental Ray, and lot's of photoshop painting... jinsley
Looks great so far... love the sketchy look. Only thing that bugs me are the trees farthest right, the seem really out of scale.
alias_marks
ah yes, good ponit, I'll revise that a bit. I always have a bit of trouble keeping the right scale of stuff when I add it in photoshop....
jinsley
very true... recently I have taken to making a layer full of gridlines drawn over the image...
sardesign
i like it... nice composition. even in light accurate images, i love silouettes over real images of people. reminds me of a friend in college that could do amazing things with PS... almost as good as the renderings with radiosity in 3d max 3.
