clivengu Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 I have installed Vista 64bit and Max9 64bit last few days and i tested it works okl.. yesterday.. out of sudden, after i used Sketchup6 and want to import to max for rendering.. When i run 3dsmax9, this error comes out "Almpx.exe has stopped working" and i cant run the softwrae at all. I have checked the internet for this, including searching for the Almpx.exe file and check "run as administrtor" but it doesn't work. Can any1 help? i have been through many problem with Vista but this one has no solution so far. If no solution by end of today. i will have to reinstall XP instead cause i hv work to rush Pls help me if any1 know the problem . Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BOXXLABS Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 YOu might try upgrading to a newer version of MAX that is supported by and know to be stable in Vista. Otherwise, you will probably need to : 1. either run MAX 9 in "XP compliance mode" in Vista - which probably won't fix your issue 2.
