Hi, I have a problem with 3ds Max 8, when I get a big render (100Mb), few seconds after the start it's open a window "There isn't enough memory for the raytracer to build it's accelerator data structures. The render is being aborted". How can I do?

The configuration of my pc is:

Intel core 2 quad q6600

Nvidia geforce 8800 gts

Ram 2 gb

Thanks.

Alberto

P.s. I'm sorry for my lower english

Your problem could be the 2GB of ram. What size are your textures? If your output will allow it try knocking the resolution of them down a bit. You could try rendering in different passes and comping together afterwards. Also i think you can render through backburner instead of max to save some memory. ( dont hold me to that last one though its friday night and beer does funny things :) ).
