Mario Madzarov
Hi, Im new here, my name is Mario Im from Macedonia and Im 20. Im first course student of the University of Architecture, Geodesy and Construction in Sofia, Bulgaria. I traced this page via Google so I thought about entering the community, it might be useful for me to get my knowledge expanded. However I was owner of a webpage for a graphic development I have knowledge in Photoshop but I would also like to take a part in the 3D Graphics world as well. I would ask if you people could give me a guide as for a human who never touced 3DMax before. Im also a newbie in the AutoCAD as well as the ArchiCAD and Cinema4D, as a mather of fact we will learn them the next year but I always like to be forward with my knowledge. Thanks in advance. -Mario
baba147
well, drop cinema4D from the list. 3ds max is better than cinema4D. I also started with cinema4D, but moved to 3ds max later. and i am glad i did. as for learning 3ds max, start with tutorials that come with 3ds max. they can be found from help menu.... STRAT
yes, the user base is so much larger for max than for cinema, and it's resources are that much larger, thats not in question, but for max being better? as you say, only in your opinion. after 15-20 years using max and cinema i can say it's down to you. there is no better. each does it differently. leed
I would advise starting off to get a good understanding of a cad application and a good rendering application. Whichever you choose you will have a lot to learn... Also look for tutorials and lessons on good composition. Me I use C4d (I am a mac user) and Form Z and Sketchup... C4d has Vray plugin which is a very good renderer, it is also (from what I gather) a more intuitive program. Good luck... what ever you learn this is a good forum that will be able to help you. Mario Madzarov
Thanks so much for your advices I really appriciate it I guess I'll start with C4D while I learn AutoCAD and ArchiCAD to get involved with the basics and then I'll probably extend my views with the 3DMax.
