gazbo Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 I'm trying to use a technique I came across in one of the MBM tutorials which involved using a vertex paint modifier and a material with a mix map to create gravel paths through a grass field. My problem is that I want to have 3 materials grass, gravel and ploughed soil and there are only 2 slots in a mix material. Anyone know if there is a way of blending 3 materials using vertex paint? SandmanNinja Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 for one of the 2 materials, use a mix map, a cellular map, etc. You can nest it pretty darn deep. Mix Map | -> Channel 1 = Black -> Channel 2 = Mix Map (or Cellular) | -> Channel 1 = Black -> Channel 2 = Mix Map (or Cellular) ad infintunitum Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
