STRAT Posted June 20, 2008 Share Posted June 20, 2008 i'm running mac os x 10.4.11 recently, when i save anything to my desktop, it doesn't appear unless i do a search for it and click it to reveal in folder. this is most frustrating. how do i automatically get my files to show themselves on my desktop? thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
brian.coates Posted June 21, 2008 Share Posted June 21, 2008 Do you have a lot of files on your desktop? I've found that if there's little open space then some icons can be pushed 'off the edge'. Right-clicking on the desktop and selecting 'Clean Up' usually reveals everything though. Personally I've set icon size for the desktop to the maximum 128 x128, which forces me to either delete or properly file everything. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
