sdds
this may be a strange question... but has anyone tried using ambient only lights with vray? I know it goes against the grain.....
STRAT
in c4d that means non vray lights. standard AR ambients. they do work, but the only shadows they can produce are raytraced hard shadows. a good ambient light for vrayc4d is using a standard vray area light in 'dome' mode. sdds
Hi mate, how are you? How’s business? I don’t use c4d much anymore, all cad and max at work.. Just been working on an interior render and was toying with the idea of adding some coloured ambient lights to enhance certain areas. Really enjoying the work though.. shame about the market atm…. simon
