garethace
Have you ever seen his kind of 2 dimensional final presentation drawing style Jeff? Interesting hard line style of drawing - exquisitely delicate and beautiful line work. I haven't seen very many great monographs published which do feature the drawings he does to describe the projects. I came across only one, which my friend owned and have never seen it ever since, but i would like to own a copy. The best way that i could describe it is this. His drawings, the elevations in particular are meant to describe the effect of the silouhette of the new building project against the sky, which is exactly the kind of power these buildings really have got in reality. He is one architect that is hard to visualise well using static images though. They are very sculptural and require the viewer to move alot to experience them.
