niko3d
Hello, I would like to ask a question. I have a problem with exporting a DWG file from max to autocad. When i'm exporting the file to autocad, the objects are polylines. Is there a way to export the file and have the objects in autocad seen as solids? Im using the latest versions of both programs. Thank you
neko
athens, belgium ? anyways, the short (5:45 am) answer is no, but if you are able to export as polylines, then it is very simple to extrude those into solids in autocad using extrude (EXT) or even press-pull. or are your 3D shapes quite complex, and not simple extrusions ? niko3d
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately my models are quite complex so i can't do that. It will be like creating the scene in Autocad from the beginning. There is no point in doing that. Thanks again

ahmon
Depending on how complex the model is, you should be able to export it as a 3ds and then import it into cad and it will still be solids.
