File management

I was wondering what file system or organization do you people use to store your information. Do you guys use the "my documents" folder and throw everything in there and create sub folders?

 

I want to be able to get to my office doccuments and well as my Hw ( wich includes CAD,3dsmax,office) and my professional files (Cad,3dsmax,office)..?

I recommend a book called by Unlocking Knowledge Assets by Susan Conway, published by the Microsoft Press. I bit long to read, but it should change the way you think about your knowledge assets and give you new respect for how valuble those assets really are.
