skala67
Thanks for the encouragement and comments. They are all definitely legitimate concerns. I believe I lost focus for a little while there. I am re-evaluating many of the elements and will be posting a new image soon. (gettin rid of the 3d bushes, working on the sunlight and sky, etc....) cheers,
Claudio Branch
I believe I lost focus for a little while there. Let's just blame your client... After you give the client what they think they want, you should seriously consider doing your own entire version of this scene. Your initial model and lighting was top-notch! So make a version the way YOU would do it and stick that badboy in your portfolio.
stylEmon
Your initial model and lighting was top-notch I agree, something was lost between the first and the next. The cactus and Palo Verde models are not very good. You need more contrast between the rocks on the fountain, and the stone wall behind. The lighting on the building in the back left is stronger than the other buildings and the Chrysler windsheild doesnt look like glass. I might try a procedural texture for the gravel up front, it's not a good tiling texture. There are MANY good points to the render as well. The modeling is top notch. So is the framing. How's biz in PHX? I'm doing Arch Viz in the valley also!
skala67
Here is the final image I will be sending to the client. If i have a chance I will go back and make some changes for my own personal reasons. I appreciate everyones comments throughout the process. C&C still welcome, thanks again cheers,

skala67
Ok, I know i just posted but that image was bothering me. I decided to fix the mountain to fit better with the pic. I am now stepping back from this one. I swear. cheers,
sardesign
good job on the cars.. they look better now... better lighting too. Try using some camera shaders next time to blur out the background [of the model on the extreme left and right] and focus the middle of the image. hope the client likes it. Claudio Branch
I think your final image came out alright. The lighting looks good, the entourage and foliage is placed nicely... There are definately things about it that could be better, but making your client happy IS the number one priority... Thanks for posting it up and showing us your progress along the way. Best luck to you on the next one!
