wrreisen
Hi, For estate agents graphics do you need to render at A4 300 dpi (about 3600 pixels across) With Vray this would take a long time. Up until now I have been using 3dsmax Scanline renderer for exteriors. It is so much quicker than Vray even though I have 8 cores on my main workstation. Can you get away with less pixels as websites such as rightmove dot co dot uk have smaller images required than the traditional estate agents printed material. Thanks for any advice. FlytE
You are always better rendering a large image and sizing it down for website display. If you render 1024 by 768 and your client asks for the high res version... you will probably have to re-render the whole lot again. I usually render at 4000 wide. Sometimes if I think there is a likeliness a client would want the image for a larger print I would render at 6000 wide or higher.
